Schools to Close Due to Hurricane Ian

Based on the latest information and after consultation with the County’s emergency officials, in an abundance of caution, all schools and District offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, September 28, and Thursday, September 29.  In addition, we urge families to pick up their children from this afternoon’s after care programs as promptly as possible.  We will continue to closely monitor Hurricane Ian’s track and remain in close communication with Miami-Dade’s Office of Emergency Management and other local, state, and federal officials.  Please continue to monitor our website as updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
